San Francisco Foliagecelebrated Cinco de Mayo by rolling up our sleeves at theRoots Community Garden in Bayview-Hunter’s Point. SF Foliage staff joined a wonderful mix of community members for weeding, planting, and watering on a beautiful spring day.
This family-friendly event, sponsored by Habitat For Humanity of Greater San Francisco and the San Francisco Housing Development Corporation, featured live music, barbecue, and lots of neighborhood spirit. SFF was happy to donate plants, labor and garden know-how to the upkeep of this beautiful community resource.”
